
Olive walnut bread
Ingredients:
500 g of flour
400g of water
10g of yeast
20g of sugar
2 tsp chia seeds
1tsp oregano
1tsp garlic powder
5-10 pitted Chopped olives
5 walnuts – cut into small pieces
Instructions
Add dry Ingredients together in a large bowl ( flour, salt, yeast, sugar, chia, seasoning, olives and walnuts) making sure that yeast and salt are on opposite sides of the bowl)
Lastly add warm water at 106F.
Mix into a sticky dough and cover with Saran Wrap or tea towel. Place into oven with light on.
After 30 minutes fold dough.
Let dough rise until double the size.
Place dough on counter dusted with flour. Shape and let rise for another 40 minutes.
Transfer onto a large piece of parchment and cover with a bowl.
Allow to rise while oven heats to 450 F with Dutch oven inside with lid on.
Once temperature is reached place dough on parchment in Dutch oven and close lid again.
Bake for 40 minutes then take off cover and cook for another 5 minutes.
Take out and place on a cooling rack.
