I’ve been seeing quite a few recipes on sweet focaccia ranging from apple pie version to lemon blueberry focaccia.
I was planning on making a sourdough bread but it was underproofed so I went with a focaccia and then thought hey why not try sweet focaccia for once.
For me, it wasn’t a hit.
It seems to just reinforce the sour part of sourdough. Maybe if the toppings had been sweeter ? I used a cup of the frozen triple berry mix from Costco which is already quite tart and added some cinnamon, brown sugar and maple syrup on top. Overall I don’t think I’ll be retrying this.
