So I accidentally grew lemon cucumbers, which I wasn’t aware existed till now.

I had bought a seed mix for my little raised garden bed and the cucumbers have been taking over everything. They attach themselves to neighbouring plants and hog all the light. Next year I’ll have to plant them in a separate raised bed. That being said, they produced an astonishing amount of flowers and now… yellow round cucumbers !

For a while I was wondering if I’d planted zucchini or squash instead ( the rind is quite hard) but no, it takes and smells exactly like a cucumber on the inside. Who knew?
