Summer has finally decided to show up. Here in Canada this seems to take a little longer than elsewhere. I was visiting family in Switzerland in March and we already had 15+ degrees then so it’s been a long time of playing catchup. But this week – finally! The humidity of the tropics meets the wildfire smog that we usually only get in August. But here it is, at long last. A parade of sun, a trickle of sweat on the brow as you garden, and an unquenchable thirst for fresh lemonade. I’m here for the BBQ nights and the warm nights bathed in sounds of crickets and fireworks.

What’s your favourite season and why? Are you anxious for summer to truly begin or already counting the days to the next pumpkin spice latte and cooler nights where that single bed sheet simply won’t do?
